Instructions for use

Substrate preparation:
Substrate must be dry (wood with less than 12% humidity) and free of grease and dirt. Final sanding with 180-grit or higher abrasive.

Primer:
Stir well. Ready to use: apply a good coat by brush, cloth, roller, sponge or spray gun. Spread the oil. After 20 to 30 minutes in almost dry areas, remove excess and polish with a cloth or pad (white pad, orbital sander).

Intermediate coat / finish:
Apply a thin coat the next day with a rag and treat in the same way as the base coat. Depending on the porosity of the wood, a 3rd coat may be necessary the day after. Important: test first. Avoid excess oil on the surface (shine!). During application and drying, ensure good ventilation. Application temperature: from 16°C.

Tool cleaning:
Rinse immediately after use with BIOFA 0600 brush cleaner (solvent-free) or BIOFA 0500 thinner.

Surface care: For daily maintenance of work surfaces, use Nacasa BIOFA 4010 neutral soap. To refresh the wood, first wash, then, once dry, treat as described under 1. Greyed areas should be roughened with 240 grain and oiled. For heavily used worktops, oil once a month.

Drying
Dry after 16-24 hours (20°C / 50-55% humidity). Through-drying and optimum resistance are achieved after 7 days.

Safety advice
Caution! Allow soaked cloths, sponges and clothing to dry on non-flammable surfaces (risk of self-ignition), or soak in water. They can then be disposed of in household waste. The product does not catch fire on its own, but releases a great deal of heat as it dries (avoid using ball rags). Natural products should also be kept out of the reach of children. Contains cobalt hexanoate; may cause allergic reactions on skin contact. Use only in well-ventilated areas. May cause sensitization by skin contact. Apply skin protection (cream) during application. Wear a fine dust mask when sanding. Natural components may give off an odor. Observe technical data sheet!

Recycling
Do not dispose of residues down the drain. Liquid product should be disposed of in paint containers or in accordance with local regulations. Small quantities and dry rags can be disposed of in household waste. Empty, dry packaging should be disposed of at a waste disposal center. Uncleaned packaging should be treated in the same way as the product.
