Instructions for use

  1. Substrate preparation: the substrate must be dry, clean, free from grease stains and prepared according to the rules of the trade.
Remove loose old paint, limewash or glue.
Clean and sand old latex or acrylic paints.
On crumbly or highly absorbent substrates, first apply a coat of BIOFA 1440 WALL FIXER.
Lightly absorbent substrates: dilute paint to max. 100% water.
For concrete or cement surfaces, wait at least 6 weeks. Follow the instructions in the table overleaf.
Surfaces that have been stripped should be sanded (60-100 grit), vacuumed and dusted, or brushed with hot water. Treat after 24 h with a coat of BIOFA 1440; residues of wallpaper paste may cause adhesion problems.
Note: it is possible that rust, nicotine or other stains may show through on substrates previously treated with water-based systems. Test first.
  2. Primer: mix well. For the first coat, add up to 5% water.
On paper to be painted or light surfaces to be refreshed, a single coat may be sufficient.
Apply with a brush or medium nap roller. Airless spray system: 0.53 mm nozzle, 200 bar pressure.
    Important: apply evenly!
Work the edges 'wet in wet'!
Use soft rollers that can take enough paint!
    Try it out!
During application and drying, ensure good ventilation.
    Do not work below 12°C.
  3. Top coat: apply an additional coat of PRIMASOL to improve coverage.
  4. Cleaning equipment: clean tools with BIOFA 0600 brush cleaner and rinse with clean water.

Dry after 2 to 4 hours.
Can be recoated after approx. 12 hours.
