Instructions for use

  1. Substrate preparation: the substrate must be porous, clean and firm.
On all interior mineral surfaces, cement, concrete, lime plaster, plasterboard, etc., remove old latex, oil or synthetic paints.
Old mineral paints must be cleaned and non-adherent parts removed.
Close micro-cracks. Damaged surfaces (roughcast, micro-cracks, etc.) should be repaired with mineral products.
Traces of crystallization on bricks or concrete should be neutralized or removed mechanically.
Surfaces that have been stripped should be lightly sanded (60 to 100 grit) and dusted, then cleaned with a damp cloth (lukewarm water).
Porous surfaces should be treated with Biofa 1440 Fixative after 24 hours. Remains of wallpaper paste may cause adhesion problems.
Important note:Alkali-sensitive surfaces should be protected (marble, stone, glass, etc.).
It is possible, when treating different surfaces with microporous paint systems, for traces of nicotine, lignin, rust, etc. to reappear after painting.
The substrate should therefore be tested.
The use of natural raw materials may give off a characteristic odour.
  2. Application: Stir well. Add 3 to 5% water or BIOFA 1440 fixative if necessary.
The product can be tinted with BIOFA 1410-1419 tinting concentrates for silicate paints.
    Important: apply regularly!
Work the edges 'wet in wet'!
Use soft rollers that can pick up enough paint!
    Try it out!
During application and drying, ensure good ventilation.
Do not apply if air or substrate temperature is below +5°C.
    Mix thoroughly before use.
  3. Tool cleaning: clean tools immediately with BIOFA 0600 brush cleaner, then with soapy water, followed by clear water.
Dry stains can be removed with BIOFA 4060 Natole.

Can be recoated after 6 hours.
