DESTINATION
Can be applied to all wood species, European and exotic.
Recommended for exterior woodwork subject to harsh exposure: boat decks, gates, seaside house frames, decks, balconies, etc.
PROPERTIES
- Boat varnish, based on polyurethane resins and UV stabilizers, provides optimum protection for exterior woodwork exposed to marine climates and strong sunlight.
- Its formulation makes it perfectly waterproof and resistant to sea salts.
- Its high resistance to abrasion means it can be used in high-traffic outdoor areas: terraces, balconies, outdoor staircases, etc.
- V33 boat varnish follows the movements of the wood to avoid film breakage. Special yachting varnish, "marine" quality.
- Highly resistant to seawater, sun and sea spray. Resistant to the most aggressive environments (seaside, mountains, etc.).

PREPARATION
Wood must be bare, clean and dry. Always lightly round the corners of your woodwork with sandpaper to ensure even varnish coverage and optimum wear resistance.
- NEW OR RUGGED WOOD: sand in the direction of the wood grain with 150-grit sandpaper to obtain a smooth surface.
- VARNISHED or LASURED WOOD: sand with 240-grit sandpaper to remove old brittle finishes, then dust off.
- PAINTED WOOD or CHIPPED Varnish: strip with V33 Universal or Special Wood Stripper. Rinse with water and leave to dry for 24 hours. Sand with 240-grit sandpaper and remove dust.
- EXOTIC WOOD or METAL: degrease with acetone.
APPLICATION
Stir well with a chopstick before use.
1. Apply two coats by brush or spray on clean, dry and grease-free wood.
2. Allow the first coat to dry for 6 hours.
3. To achieve a high level of finish, sand lightly between coats with fine sandpaper (240), remove dust carefully and apply the next coat.
