Biofa Colourless Terrace Oil (3753) 2.5L + FREE 1L DEGRISER
Oil and resin treatment for outdoor wood decks; suitable for yellow pine, bankirai, robinia, oak etc.
Essential oils impregnate new, untreated wood and revive old, oiled wood.
Quick, easy application, penetrates well into the wood and protects it from moisture.
How to use
Important: Carry out a trial run beforehand.
Mix pots of different fillers before application!
Do not apply in direct sunlight, risk of oil seepage or skin formation.
When applying indoors, ensure adequate ventilation and air circulation!
- Substrate preparation: the substrate must be dry, solid, clean and absorbent.
Completely remove old coats of varnish and lacquer.
Pre-treat grey woods with BIOFA 2089 grit remover.
Remove wood residues and finishes with a mastic brush.
Let autoclave-treated wood stand for two months and remove any crystallization. Clean and revive heavily seasoned raw or oiled wood with BIOFA 2019 outdoor cleaner and BIOFA 2089 stripper. - Application: stir well.
For a first application on untreated wood apply 2 coats, on oiled wood 1 coat thinly and evenly.
Avoid puddling.
Do not apply below a temperature of 12°C! - Maintenance: depending on exposure, maintain at least once a year.
Carefully clean surfaces with a high-pressure cleaner or brush.
Rinse previously applied cleaners (moss, algae, dirt) thoroughly with BIOFA 2019 cleaner. Remove undesirable graying with BIOFA 2089 graying remover.
Then apply the terrace oil thinly and evenly with a roller or spalter and leave to dry. - Tool cleaning: with BIOFA 0500 thinner immediately after use.
Séchage
L’huile est sèche après 6 à 8 heures (20°C/50-55% humidité relative).
A second coat can be applied.
Drying delays can be caused by too low a temperature, too high a humidity, insufficiently dry substrates, an abundance of tannin (oak, chestnut) or exotic woods rich in essential oils.

Composition
Aliphatic hydrocarbons, castor oil rosin ester, titanium dioxide, cobalt hexanoate, manganese octoate and zirconium driers, antioxidant. Contains propiconazole, terbutryne and octylisothiazolon.
Yield
50 à 70ml / m² or 14-20m² / liter, quantity may vary depending on the porosity and roughness of the substrate.
Storage
Store in cool, dry, well-closed packaging. A skin that forms in the can is removed before re-use. Use a colander.

Beware! Soaked rags, clothing or tools must be placed in metal containers or in water and must not be placed on flammable surfaces (risk of auto-ignition!).) The product itself is not self-flammable, but flammable.
Contains cobaltbis (2-ethylhexanoat) and the biocidal active ingredients propiconazol, terbutryn and octylisothiazolon. May cause sensitization by skin contact.
Keep out of reach of children.

Recycling
Do not dispose of the résidus à l’égout. The liquid product should be disposed of in the paint container or in accordance with local regulations. Small quantities and rags, once dry, can be disposed of in household waste. Empty, dry packaging should be disposed of at a waste disposal center. Uncleaned packaging should be treated in the same way as the product.
